Young Guns – Round 6 Preview

It will be a bit arrogant to claim that the semi-finalists of this competition are all done and dusted, however, this is as close to decided as bliksem is a swear word. The main focus for the top teams will be the management of injuries and players to be fully fit and available come 08 April and semi-finals time.

CUT is still looking for their first win and if UWC's performance last Monday against TUKS are anything to go by they will be going home still in search of that first win. UWC ploughed the pitch last Monday with TUKS forwards and was in the lead when TUKS converted a try after the time on the clock was expired.

Shimlas vs TUKS

The team of TUKS again has some strange changes but they do play against Shimlas who was hammered last Monday by the Ikeys (33-16). T TUKS team is blowing hot and cold this season and they never performed well when not at home. Can Shimlas win? Yes but ....................

Maties vs UJ

NWU (Pukke) vs Ikeys

Nobody will be mad if it is stated that the Pukke's Young Guns team is the second strongest team in the competition as the lost to Maties 47-36 in Stellenbosch. The Ikeys had a great win against Shimlas (62-33) in Bloemfontein but I do think Potchefstroom will be just that little bit too far to travel.
